Evergreen Moving Systems under owner Bill Brown Sr. expands by purchasing its first diesel tractor in 1980, making long-range "self hauling” possible. This enabled Evergreen Moving Systems to better serve Seattle and surrounding communities. In 1992 Evergreen opened a small office in Burlington, WA, to expand its service to our Military in Oak Harbor, and customers in the surrounding area. In 1994 Evergreen Moving Systems made the transition to Atlas Van Lines. Atlas’s reputation for providing world class service to its customers fit in with the direction of our goal of providing superior customer service.
The 3rd generation of the Brown family with sons Bill and Steve Brown took over the reins of the company in 2002, and expanded our service. In 2002 Evergreen Moving Systems expanded its facility in Burlington to meet the demands of the region.
Today, Evergreen Moving Systems serves customers from Seattle to the Canadian border for Atlas Van lines. With 20 local trucks and 24,000 square feet of warehouse space, owners Bill and Steve Brown feel that the company is positioned for growth with the regions’ population. The warehouses are centrally located to better serve our customers more economically. Our employees are proud of the history and reputation of this company. It has been a stable constant in the world of ever-changing regulations and consumer demands. |
